Let it Go

Let it Go -- Corrinne May

I think we've been here before
I recognize this place
I've seen the marks of confusion
wipe out a single sign of grace
And I don't want to play anymore
Not when the stakes are so high
So before we circle round once more
I'm gonna lay down,
Lay down my pride

Let it go, let it be
Don't waste all your emotion on this
tit-for-tat machine
Let it go, let it be
Let it go

I turn on the TV
and it screams out at me
Nothing seems to have changed
since the start of Adam and Eve
So we're waiting for the sky to fall
and we're buying brand new toys
But before we circle round once more
Can we lay down
Just lay down this pride

Let it go, let it be
Don't waste all your emotion on this
tit-for-tat machine
Let it go, let it be
Let it go
Don't go wasting your emotions
No one wins if we keep score
Let it go, let it be
Let it go

Just a coincidence I was listening through the album lately, and it just fits. To those who needs it...perhaps then we'll be Free.

When the silence touches your heart

Bringing my communication to the next level! Seeing voices is an art, untold.
When you feel that the silence has touch your hearts, you will know what is it like to have lose your voice, a mode of communication.

All it takes is for me to go further now. To learn and to practise and to communicate with the untold art.

I wish of more such days

Incredible. Just got Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince from the regional library this morning. It's the only copy left and we all know that it is an extremely popular book. I was so lucky to be able to find it. I was still wondering where else can I get hold of the book after I finish my Order of Phoenix 2 days earlier. Just too cool!

Well, I started reading Harry Potter about 2 weeks ago, and I really find it a very interesting read. Everytime I can just go on for hours reading and reading way past my bedtime.

And this is the 2nd lucky thing that happen. The lady singing is Corrinne May! (Too bad I was standing a bit too far away to get a better photo with my handphone.)

I always wanted to watch her live performance. But alas, I missed 2 of her concerts already. The one coming up on 12th Feb is already sold out. Sad, sad, sad. I was wondering when's the next chance and voila, by total surprise, she was singing at the Central Forum and I happen to be there for my project meeting. At first I was still unsure if it was someone else, as I couldn't really see the face. But no mistake with her angelic voice. I heard and watched her singing "Save Me". Oh man, I was overjoyed and just couldn't bear to return to my project discussion.

And at night, I got another news of an exciting and challenging new job - volunteer for Touch Silent. Though I missed the first training session, but I'm still welcome aboard the team. It's really quite brain-stimulating and finger exercising learning signing.

And I caught sight of a rainbow. A beauty, light in it's purest components. I wish I could catch the double rainbow someday.
