Sarabande - In Unison

Beautiful as the Melody, Paced out as Choreographed, Synchronized to the Beat... Fast or Slow, it's in Unison

Touch down

Time flies and I'm back to the home port.

Feels like going off somewhere again in June. So anyone making short trips can ask me along...

It's great to see what else is out there. It's simply an amazing and unimaginable experience at Jordan, Jerusalem and Cairo. Trekking over hills and mountains, sight-seeing of old cities, partying, meeting new friends, diving...

Will post my travel log and photos up soon (I hope), so stay tune!

The world is Flat

The revised edition of "the world is flat" is out. I saw it in the bookstore. With better infrastructure, we are able to get to more places than before, some previously inaccessible. Indeed, the world is getting flatter.

But no matter how flat it gets, I think in this world, there is a place that one truly belongs to and feels for. Just like in this world, there is a person that one truly belongs to and feels for. Got a surprise call from a friend yesterday and he was just talking about finding "my treasure" in life.

Interesting notion. Spending sometime to find some place, some one or something that we call "treasure".

Kiss Me Good-bye

This is the new song that make it to my easy-listening playlist. I was watching the video and it is a very simple video with just the singer, Angela Aki, playing her piano. But Angela Aki looks memerising playing the piano. Some may say she's cool or a bit exaggerating. It could be just me as I always have a 'thing' for a lady who plays the piano. haha.

Beautiful and strong voice from Angela Aki.
Simple and poetic lyrics (both Japanese and English) from her too.
Wonderful music as usual from the Final Fantasy series composer, Uematsu Nobuo.

This is the jap version and you can see for yourself how "suave" Angela Aki is playing the piano.

This is the english version and it is also a trailer for Final Fantasy XII.

The english ver Lyrics:
You say my love is all you need

To see you through

But I know these words are not quite true

Here is the path you’re looking for

An open door

Leading the worlds you long to explore

Go, if you must move on alone

I’m gonna make it on my own

Kiss me good-bye, love’s memory

Follow your heart and find your destiny

Don’t shed a tear, for love’s mortality

For you put the dream in my reality

As times goes by I know you’ll see this of me

I loved enough to let you go free

Go, I will give you wings to fly

Cast all your fears into the sky

Kiss me good-bye, love is mystery

All of my life, I’ll hold you close to me

Don’t shed a tear, for love’s mortality

For you put the dream in my reality

Kiss me good-bye, love’s memory

You put the dream in my reality

I prefer this song to the earlier FF series ones like Eyes on Me by Faye Wong, Melodies of Life, 1000 no Kotoba, Emotion by Koda Kumi...more soothing and calming and yet vibrant, not to the extreme.

And i guess very soon, kiss me goodbye.
