Body, Heart and Spirit

Of all different forms of arts, I enjoy a beautiful voice most. Much more than paintings, poetry and music. A great voice can bring many thoughts and stir emotions, uplift the spirit and revitalize the body, heart, and mind.

And this is Olivia Newton-John. Though I wasn't a fan of her music, but this night made me hopelessly devoted to her voice. Her songs have a catchy tune and her voice brings physical life to the words. It's magic, making me feel a little more love in the summer night.

I honestly love her voice and songs, and listening to her live. It has been great fun.

Tarot

You are The Hermit

Prudence, Caution, Deliberation.

The Hermit points to all things hidden, such as knowledge and inspiration,hidden enemies. The illumination is from within, and retirement from participation in current events.

The Hermit is a card of introspection, analysis and, well, virginity. You do not desire to socialize; the card indicates, instead, a desire for peace and solitude. You prefer to take the time to think, organize, ruminate, take stock. There may be feelings of frustration and discontent but these feelings eventually lead to enlightenment, illumination, clarity.

The Hermit represents a wise, inspirational person, friend, teacher, therapist. This a person who can shine a light on things that were previously mysterious and confusing.

Good + Good = Better?

I love Star Wars. Yoda is cute and Darth Vader is cool.

I love Phantom of the Opera too. Music is enchanting and the storyline is bittersweet.

I'm sure some of you out there love both of these at the same time.

But I'm not so sure when we do get "best of both worlds"

This is extremely funny. Watch it.

I am your father...

Haunting...

Open up your mind,
Let your fantasies unwind
In this darkness which you know you cannot fight
The darkness of the music of the night

Let the dream begin, let your darker side give in
To the power of the music that I write
The power of the music of the night

You alone can make my song take flight
Help me make the music of the night

No more talk of darkness,

forget these wide-eyed fears;
I'm here, nothing can harm you,
my words will warm and calm you.
Let me be your freedom,
let daylight dry your tears;
I'm here, with you, beside you,
to guard you and to guide you.

Then say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime;
let me lead you from you solitude.
Say you need me with you, here beside you,
anywhere you go, let me go too,
that's all I ask of you.

Puppies

Little animals are always cute.

8 puppies all together. They were so afraid of me and hid away from me. But once they saw food, they forgot their fear and started running out. LOL, puppies.

Seeking refuge?

"Attacking" the plate all at once.

This one licks up everything.

Watch them run about.

Building a positive attitude

Many a times we say we must have the positive attitude. We say it comprises of open-mindedness, optimism, passion and respect. So I have been wondering what can help to define attitude or is there any one thing we can change or work on to create positive attitude?

I would say it is high self-esteem. Loving yourself and who you are would create the responsibility of taking care of your own well being. You will learn to take care of your own body and mind. You will desire to expand your own horizons.

You are confident of your character and capability to know that you will succeed in your life. You will keep your head above the water no matter what misfortunes or failures befall on you. You keep the spirit up. You look on the brighter side.

You will value yourself and know you are worthy of whatever riches in this world and work towards your dreams. You create the passion in your life.

It would be a pleasure for me to have a further discussion on this to develop this idea...

So meanwhile, I'll groom my self-esteem.
